The company structure shows the fundamental construction of your office. The map that is shown on your billboard and in the app is categorized by;
- Region
- Site
- Office
- Floor
- Zone
Within these different areas are added features such as rooms, desks and open area signs to create your office layout.
You can edit these features in the Flowscape portal (name, etc) and you can add new sites, buildings, floors and zones in the system. In order to have them appear on the map, you need to change the map configuration of your office which can be done in the Map Editor.
If you want to know how to add new sites, buildings, floors and zones to the Flowscape portal, read the manual HERE.
Below follows a brief introduction to the company structure:
Regions
Regions are the largest company structure, covering the location of your map.
You can change the information of any region by clicking on it in the list.
Sites
Sites are a subcategory of the Regions. You can have a few sites in the same region.
Changing the site's information is done by clicking on it.
Offices
Within a site, you can have multiple office buildings. A company may have two different office buildings in the same geographical area.
You can edit the office information by clicking on it.
The office name can be seen on top of the mobile app.
Floor
A building can have different floors, here you can find a list of all floors that are incorporated in your system.
You can change the name of your floors, floor abbreviation, and floor level by clicking on it in the floor list.
Zones
A floor can be divided into zones. For example a Dining area, Open workspace, Library, etc. This helps with categorizing the different functions of your office.
You can edit a zone by clicking on it.
You can choose to make a zone invisible on the map. This will make the area appear directly with its details on the map while in the zone-view on the billboard and in the app.
Un-check the Visible box to make the zone invisible.
- If you make all zones invisible, the map will not show zone-view.
