In this article we will explain how to edit Asset Configurations.
You can filter configurations for the different types of assets.
By selecting an item in the list, the 'Update Asset Configurations' window will open.
In "Booking mode" you can select between:
- Bookable
- Non-bookable
- Blocked
Grace time for Sensors determines how much time an asset have after a user leaves for it to become bookable again. You can set this by entering the number in minutes in 'Presence time out'.
Before a booking starts an asset can become yellow on the map to signal that it will soon be occupied. You can set this by entering the number in minutes under 'Soon to be booked'. To learn more about color logic CLICK HERE.
Settings for Bookable asset configurations:
If "Enable check-in" is active, the user will have to confirm a meeting before it starts or the resource will be released for others.
If "Enable Meeting Confirmation on Rooms Panel" is selected the rooms with this configuration will have the confirm (check-in) functionality on the room panel. In order to enable confirmation (check-in) on the room panel both checkboxes need to be selected.
"Time before booking starts (in minutes)" states when the user gets the check in option to confirming the meeting.
"Time after booking starts (in minutes)", states when the user latest have to confirm the meeting in order to keep the room.
There are three ways to confirm a meeting:
- Using room panel
- Via an email
- Push notification from the mobile app
In "Booking accept", you have the option to select an email template from Files -> Email Templates. The selected template will automatically be sent to the user once they have successfully made a booking for an asset.
In "Info email", you have the ability to select a specific time (in this example, 60 minutes prior to a booking), for the user to receive an email reminder about their scheduled booking. You can select the email template for this reminder from Files -> Email Templates.
