Retrieving the roompanel's device log files can help if there is an issue with the Qbic roompanel.
To download the software, use either (A) the RCC-software or (B) a USB-stick.
A) Using RCC-Software for download via network to PC
-
Download the RCC software
RCC Download link (optionally, you can use this web-version as well) -
Switch log setting to internal
Please switch panel log setting to store to internal storage.
This can be done on the roompanel itself, or using the RCC software.
When using the RCC software, you need to scan your network for the correct device IP address. To ensure that you have the correct IP address, please go to the physical roompanel device -> pull up the Android menu buttons from bottom -> Press round middle button -> The "Ethernet"-menu will display the current internal IP address (this IP address might change every few days!).
Switch the setting or follow below path: Settings > Log > Log location > Store to internal storage
-
Check if device is alive, retrieve log files.
If there is a connectivity issue (such as a frozen/black screen), use the RCC remote desktop function to check whether the device is still alive or not.
Retrieve the log files, see screenshots below. Open

B) Using a USB-stick for direct download from panel
1. Enable the Store Log function.
Android version 5.1: Settings => Advanced settings => Log => Log Location
Android version 7.1/8.1: Settings => Log => Log Location
2. Select the way you want to store the log file.
3. Try to reproduce the failure symptom for several times.
