What is Company structure?

The company structure shows the fundamental construction of you office. The map that is shown on your billboard and in the app is categorized by;

• Site
• Building
• Floor
• Zone

Within these different areas, Rooms, desks, restrooms and open areas are added to create your office layout. 

You can edit these features in the flowscape portal (name, etc) and you can add new sites, buildings, floors and zones in the system, but these will not appear on the map. This because you need to change the map configuration of your office. Rooms, desk and desk types can be edited to a bigger extent.

Below follows a brief introduction to the company structure: 

Sites

Sites is the largest company structure, covering the region where your office is placed. You can change the name of your site by clicking on the Gear and then "Edit item"

Building

Within a site, you can have multiple buildings. A company may have an office in two different buildings in the same geographical area.

For example, this office is placed in Kista and the office building is “Arne beurlings Torg”

• You can change the name of your building by clicking on the Gear and then "Edit item".
• Click "Save" to confirm changes

Floor

A building can have different floors, here you can find a list of all floors that are incorporated in your system.

You can change the name of your floors, floor abbreviation and floor level by clicking on the Gear and then "Edit item".

Zones

A floor can be divided into zones. For example a dining area, open work space, Library etc. This helps categorizing the different functions of your office.

As an administrator, you can choose to make a zone invisible on the map. This will make the area appear directly with its details on the map while in the zone-view on the billboard and in the app.

Click on the Gear/”Edit item” and un-check the Visible box.

• If you make all zones invisible, the map will show detailes directly. 

Rooms, desks, desk types and signs

This is the final level of your company structure. A room or desk exist within a Zone on a floor within the building where your office is held. Here you can find a list of all desks and rooms that exist in your office. It is possible to edit the rooms and desks and add more information about them.
