NOTE! In order for Geosafey to work properly, you need the correct location settings
- Make sure you have set "Always" in your phone settings
- Make sure your position is visible and "Track me" is turned on under "My page" in the app.
You can manually turn on track me through the SAM system. The user will then receive a notification that you have switched on the feature. Learn how to turn on Track me HERE.
You create a GeoFence by dragging a lasso over the desired area. Read More about Lasso HERE.
- Click on the Tab "lasso" and mark.
- Right-click on the area you marked with the Lasso
- Choose "Convert to fence"
- The Geofence is now created and can be found under the tab "Geofences"
- Your geofence is now created and can be found under the menu tab "Geofences" on your map
Edit your Geofence
Its possible for you to edit your Geofence as soon as it is created. Whether you can edit or not depends on your ROLE in the system. Here you will learn how to:
- Change your Geofence name
- Change existing Rules
- Create new rules
Change your Geofence name
Give your Geofence a name by pressing the Gear next to Geofence name.
Change existing rules
- Click on the gear next to the Geofence name
- Click on the gear next tpo the rule name
- Change the rule settings
- Click on "Save"
Create new rules
You can customize your Geofences with rules that governs whether users;
- Get messages when entering or leaving an area
- Are added to cases when entering or leaving an area
- Are removed from cases when entering or leaving an area
Send message with Geofence
- Click on "NEW RULE"
- Select rule name
- Select if message will be sent when entering or leaving the area
- Select "Notify User" to send message
- Type message
- Click on "SAVE" to create new rule
Add or remove users from case
- Click on "NEW RULE"
- Select rule name
- Select if user will be added to case when entering or leaving the area
- Select "Add user to case" or "Remove user from case"
- Select case, click on the green check-mark to confirm
- If you want to remove user from case, follow the same steps but select "Remove user from case" instead,
In the example above, we have created a rule that automatically adds every user that exits the area to a Case. The rule was named "status report" and is used to evaluate the visit. You can customize the rules in many ways, this can also be used if you want a user to be removed from a case when they exit the area.
