In C-One, you handle users in the admin-view in the menu tab users.
Adding new users in the C-One
We have written a separate article that describes how to add new users in the C-One.
Forgot password
If a user has forgotten their password, either you as administrator have two different options of how to give the user a new password, or the user can reset her own password.
You send an email link and a code to the user:
- In the admin view, click on the menu tab users.
- Select the check box for the user you want to reset the password for.
- Click the reset password / reset invitation button. The user will now have an email with a link and a code. The link goes to a page where users enter their user id, enter a new password and enter the verification code.
Create a new password for the user:
- In the admin-view, click on the menu tab users.
- Click on the user you want to provide a new password.
- In the users wizard, you first type your own password.
- Enter a new password for the user and confirm it.
- Click submit.
The user himself requests a new password in the app:
- The user clicks the forgot password text on the app's login page on the phone.
- The user will now receive an email with a link and a code. The link goes to a page where users enter their user id, a new password and the verification code.
An invitation to become a C-One user has a limited duration. Normally 24 hours. If the validity period has expired, you can send a new invitation:
- In the admin view, click on the menu tab users.
- Select the check box for the user to get a new invitation.
- Click the reset password / reset invitation button.
