Points of interest

Points of interest are icons that you can use to mark out stairs, toilets, restaurants, equipment, etc in your office. Theщt are connected to the map through map position coordinates. 

You can view and manage points of interest under the menu "Assets" -> "Points of Interest"

In the Point of Interest menu you will find:

Starting from the top you can see a search bar. Here you can search for a specific asset name.

Beneath it are the filters you can use to find assets with specific properties(asset type, building floor, etc.)

Right on top of the asset list, you will see some different categories. You can sort assets by category. Just click on the chosen category and the table will sort automatically in alphabetic order.

Edit points of interest

You can edit existing signs by clicking on them in the list.

Name - You can change the name of the sign. The name that you choose will be displayed on the Flowscape billboard, app and Webapp. Let's say that the elevator is broken and we want to change the name from "Elevator" to "Elevator (use stairs)", just type in the new name and click "Update".

The new name will now be displayed in the list and on the interactive map. 

Type - This governs what type of icon that will be shown on the map. Through the Flowscape portal, you can choose between different types of icons (it is not possible for you to add your own). 

The new icon will now be displayed on the map.

Map position - You can update the position of the point of interest by changing Position X and Position Y. It is also possible (and easier) to do this using the map editor. See the guide here. 

• To get the map position, you can use the billboard or the Webapp to find the coordinates for the new position, click on the area and hold until a quick window appears. 

After clicking "Update", the sign will now appear on the new location. 

Add a new point of interest

You can add a new sign by clicking on the  "+" icon in the top right corner.

Follow the steps explained above and then click save. Your new sign will then be added to the Flowscape system.
