Asset Types

The admin portal comes with 12 pre configured Asset Types, but it is also possible to add custom asset types.

To create a custom asset type, click the plus (+) icon in the top-right corner. The following menu will then appear.

Give the asset type a Name and select a Category. You can choose from 12 available categories. The selected Category determines whether the asset will be interactive in the Workplace app, how the label is displayed (for example, a workplace label differs from a room label), which icon is used, and under which filter category the asset appears.

Using the slider, you can also define whether users are allowed to book only one asset of this type at a time or multiple assets simultaneously.
