To migrate all users, service account and rooms from one Microsoft 365 tenant to another, follow these steps:
Create and add the new tenant
The first step is to prepare the new tenant: O365: Preparing for an O365 integration
After this is done, you should be able to add the new tenant to your Flowscape environment: Adding a Microsoft 365 tenant
Log in with the new Service Account and new Global Admin
Please log in with the new Service Account and the new Global Admin account using Microsoft SSO to any of the Flowscape apps (i.e. https://login.flowscape.se/) for these users to be created in the Flowscape system.
Update settings in Workplace Manager
Log in to the Workplace Manager with a user that has Global admin rights in Flowscape here: https://login.flowscape.se/wm.
Go to Users -> Users, locate the new Global Admin account that you just logged in with in the previous step and mark it as Global Admin:
Go to Users -> Users, locate the new Service Account that you just logged in with in the previous step and mark it as a Service account:
After this step, it is recommended that you log out and log in again with the new Global Admin account before continuing, to make sure that the user from the new tenant has Global Admin rights.
Go to Assets -> Asset Configurations, locate all configurations that are using the old tenants Calendar service and Service account, click them and update these values from the new tenant.
Go to Assets -> Assets, locate all the rooms that are migrated to the new tenant, click them and update their Calendar ID.
Wrap up
After you have completed the steps above, verify that the new connection is working by creating a booking in Flowscape and see that it's added to the rooms calendar in your new Microsoft 365 tenant, after this you can remove the old tenant form your Flowscape system.
