New Features and Improvements
Support for Custom Forms in Bookings
Flowscape now supports custom booking forms, allowing organizations to define their own fields for users to complete when booking an asset.
In this release, supported field types include free text and single choice lists, with additional field types planned for future updates. Each field can be configured as optional or mandatory, depending on requirements.
Form definitions can be uploaded or created directly within the Workplace Manager using the built-in editor. Once configured, the forms are seamlessly presented to users in the Workplace App during the booking process.
More Analytics Dashboards
Most dashboards from the current Portal are now available in FlowAnalytics within the Workplace Manager. The user experience has been significantly improved, and AI Insights have been introduced to help users identify trends and take action more effectively.
The following dashboards are now available:
- No Show and Late Cancellations
- Portfolio Overview
- Clean Desk Simulator
- Attendance
- Department
The following dashboards, currently available in FlowPlanner, will be introduced in June:
- User Attendance
- User No Show and Late Cancellation
Linux-Based Kiosk PC
To further enhance the stability of Flowscape’s kiosk solution, we are introducing support for running the kiosk PC on a custom-built Linux distribution.
This will be available as an upgrade for existing PCs, and all new billboards will be delivered with this setup by default.
Workplace App Improvements
We continue to enhance the Workplace App based on user feedback. The following improvements have been implemented:
- Additional filters in the office view for easier navigation and discovery
- Improved visualization of user skills to help identify the right people more quickly
- Support for removing Issue Reporting and FlowPlanner to better tailor the app to your needs
Map Editor Improvements
Following the major redesign released in April, we have continued to enhance the Map Editor with additional features and improvements:
- Ability to upload background images to guide asset placement
- Support for assigning a mesh or shape to any asset for improved visualization
- Ability to draw custom shapes for assets
System Status Summary in Supervision View
To make it easier to quickly identify potential issues, a system status summary has been added at the top of the Supervision view in the Workplace Manager. This provides an immediate overview of system health and highlights any areas that may require attention.
Support for Asset Groups
To increase flexibility in FlowAnalytics, we are introducing support for Asset Groups.
While Asset Purpose already exists, it differs in how historical data is handled. Purpose retains historical context, meaning that when analyzing utilization over time, the system reflects the number of assets with a given purpose at each point in time.
Asset Groups do not retain historical context. When filtering by a specific group attribute, all assets that currently belong to that group are included, regardless of historical changes.
This provides greater flexibility for organizing and analyzing assets based on current classifications.
Support for Multiple Sensors on an Asset
Flowscape now supports connecting multiple sensors to a single asset, enabling more comprehensive data collection and analysis.
For presence sensors, it is sufficient for one sensor to detect occupancy for the asset to be considered in use. For environmental data such as temperature, CO₂, and humidity, the system calculates an average across all sensors linked to the asset. For people counters, the number of detected individuals is aggregated across all connected sensors.
