The Room panel is connected by PoE which means it gets both power and Ethernet via the Ethernet cable. Therefore it is important that this works without problems. For instance, a switch port shutting down must be avoided and this can be solved with two switch settings:

• Errdisable recovery cause link-flap:

Prevent link-flap error caused by data package loss.

• Errdisable interval 60:

Automatically open switch port after 60 seconds.
