2026.5 Release notes

2026.5 delivers the redesigned FlowAnalytics dashboards previewed in 2026.3, the ability to build fully custom analytics dashboards, two major new booking capabilities — per-weekday zone names and booking subjects — a large set of Map Editor stability fixes, a significant Kiosk Display reliability fix, a new Open Booking API, and continued improvements across Workplace Manager and the Workplace App.

Zone Names Per Weekday (New)

Zones can now be given a different display name for each day of the week instead of a single fixed name — useful for spaces that change purpose or ownership on a schedule.

• Configurable from the zone forms in Workplace Manager, including support in Copy/Duplicate from the Map Editor.
• Names automatically switch over at midnight and are reflected in the Workplace app and the Webapp's live status view — including for future-dated queries (e.g. "what will this zone be called next Tuesday").

Booking Subject (New)

Bookings can now carry a free-text subject.

• Can be set when booking an asset, and populated by integrations through the booking endpoints of the API.
• Shown on bookings in the Workplace app and on Room Displays.

Custom Analytics Dashboards (New)

Alongside FlowAnalytics's built-in dashboards, Workplace Manager now includes a drag-and-drop builder for creating your own custom analytics dashboards.

• Build a dashboard from a catalog of widgets, arranged freely with configurable header and divider sizes and multi-column layouts.
• Widgets show live data using the same underlying metrics as the built-in dashboards (utilization, occupancy, room fit, climate, and more), with consistent percentage-axis behavior across view and edit modes.
• Save and reuse filter views, and control who a custom dashboard is shared with.
• Warns before discarding unsaved changes.

FlowAnalytics — Dashboards Now Available

The redesigned FlowAnalytics experience with AI-assisted insights, first previewed in 2026.3, is now available, including the Portfolio Overview dashboard. This release also includes a round of accuracy and usability fixes across the dashboard suite:

• Added a "Time period" filter to the Attendance report, and default Time/Days filters to the Room report.
• Fixed missing trend values on the "Days in office per week" graph.
• Fixed the "User No Show" percentage-vs-absolute toggle, and fixed Advanced Filter's Absolute Value and 100%-axis options.
• Fixed "Filtered attendance summary" showing no data, and corrected an incorrect "Total rent cost" figure.
• Fixed office average utilization inconsistently showing higher than the corresponding floor average.
• Corrected value rounding in CSV export; fixed PDF export splitting a graph across two pages; fixed PNG export cutting off part of the page.
• Improved the time filter's display in the quick filter and selected state.
• General cleanup of spurious error messages in the logs.

Map Editor & Map Viewer

A large batch of stability fixes for the map editing experience:

• Fixed asset alignment not registering as a change, and alignment shifting after renaming an asset.
• Fixed assets losing their selection state after being renamed or re-visualized.
• Fixed the rotation input field to accept custom values.
• The editor no longer lets you close the asset panel without completing required fields, and the panel now closes automatically when its asset is deleted.
• Fixed a bug where publishing a new free-shape asset without confirming its shape could corrupt the asset.
• Keyboard shortcuts no longer trigger map changes while typing in a text field.
• Increased the maximum zoom-out level for large floors.
• Map Viewer: disabling an asset's URL now takes one click instead of two; the publish button now appears correctly after reverting a change; asset visualization now toggles correctly; the most recent revert is now reflected in the edit view; an asset stays highlighted while its edit panel is open; fixed an error when two offices shared the same Map ID.

Workplace Manager

• Bookings & permissions: repeat booking for assets now works correctly; "Total area" is no longer restricted to the Superuser role; removed the "Enforce capacity" setting; table filters now persist between sessions.
• Supervision: fixed duplicated records; filters now show only valid record types; added the ability to search by Flowscape ID.
• Bulk edit: updated rows now appear at the top of the list instead of the bottom; general Office bulk-edit improvements, including removing the Default Floor and Map ID fields; Kiosk Display bulk edit no longer incorrectly shows items as inactive; removed the ability to bulk-update photos on Reported Issues.
• Asset, Kiosk & Room Display configuration: fixed several labeling issues; corrected default email templates and enforced service-account-only selection where required; Presence timeout no longer resets when switching booking mode, and can now be set for non-bookable assets; fixed errors when creating new Room or Kiosk Display configs; Kiosk Display export now respects the active search filter; CSV import of panel configuration now uses the correct endpoint.
• Access & permissions: fixed several sign-in and permission edge cases, including global admin access, verification-code sign-in, and deleting a superuser without first having to remove the role; improved error handling when deleting a user with the Superuser role.
• Reported Issues: added a "Priority" column; issue timestamps now convert to the viewer's local time zone.
• Custom Booking Forms: continued form builder enhancements, plus email notifications for bookings against assets with a custom form assigned.
• Miscellaneous polish: zone creation no longer shows a false "1 change" after closing without edits; the Support link now opens in a new tab; email templates default to active and no longer show a confusing "Remove" button.

Workplace App

• Points of interest on the map can now be tapped for a details panel, including their description, and can have issues reported and viewed directly from that panel.
• Consolidated the app's various time pickers into a single, more consistent component, and the office selector now lists offices alphabetically.
• Removed the "Enforce capacity" setting from the booking flow, matching its removal in Workplace Manager.
• Fixed the embedded map view occasionally freezing when resuming the app from the background.
• The home screen no longer waits on your profile to finish loading before showing content.
• Fixed asset status displaying incorrectly after changing a booking's date or time.
• Fixed "Book on Behalf Of" rights incorrectly also granting "Cancel on Behalf Of" rights.
• Fixed search occasionally returning incorrect, irrelevant, or no results.
• Fixed upcoming bookings not being shown for non-bookable assets, and fixed a booking subject field not clearing between bookings.

Flowscape Assistant (Desktop Client)

(Assistant client v3.1.0)

• The Assistant now automatically discovers your organization's login server via central.flowscape.se — most deployments no longer need a manually configured server URL. Anonymous desk check-ins still work immediately at app startup, and a manual server override remains available for on-premises setups. This flow was further refined based on multi-tenant testing feedback.
• Login sessions now refresh automatically in the background before they expire, so the Assistant stays signed in without interrupting the user.
• Improved reliability of desk detection over USB (migrated to a newer, actively maintained USB library), and updated the underlying app framework with the latest security patches.

Kiosk Display

• Fixed an intermittent issue where the Kiosk Display could fail to update its on-screen map after a floor switch or during app startup — content updates arriving in a specific timing window were silently dropped, leaving an empty or stale map until the app was restarted.
• Fixed incorrectly formatted meeting-countdown text on non-English Kiosk Displays (e.g. Norwegian showed "Neste møte om åtta minuter" instead of "Neste møte om 8 minutter") — also affected French, German, Spanish, and Lithuanian.

Integrations & API

• New: Open Booking API — a new public API surface for booking integrations.
• Added the ability to fetch recently deleted bookings via the API.
• Added image support and new properties to the Floor data model.
• Added support for additional image formats in Argus Services.
• Fixed sensors intermittently showing as offline for some customers.
• Fixed an incorrect "Area: NA" value in mail and push notifications.
• Fixed database errors when saving certain gadget/user-activity values that exceeded field length limits.
• Continued a round of import/export corrections (kiosk/room display export values and statuses, asset type renaming, unit corrections, stricter validation, and fixes to Teams and Portal User exports).
